The Western Trust Health Improvement, Equality & Involvement Department is working in partnership with Derry City & Strabane District Council, Fermanagh & Omagh District Council and Get Out Get Active Spirit of 2012 programme supported by Live Active NI to organise four Sensory Mile events.
‘Sensory Mile’ is a 1 mile course which allows participants to walk, run or push their way through a number of stations designed to heighten the senses through sight, sound, smell, taste and touch.
The events are open to everyone but are particularly suitable for people with physical, sensory and learning disabilities and long term conditions, their families and carers.

Please note that attendees who normally require additional support should bring someone to support them at the event.
This is an outdoor event so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
Refreshments are not provided but you are welcome to bring snacks/lunch to enjoy at the event.
